is known as Majorca´s "little sister", but in contrast to
Majorca, Menorca has hardly been touched by mass-tourism.
Menorca - Biosphere Reserve
Due to a restrictive building legislation hotels and holiday resorts can only
be built in special areas called "Urbanisacion". The reward for
such a strict legislation came in 1993 when the entire Island of Menorca was
declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

Menorca is ideal for your family holidays! The sandy beaches are tidy, the
water is crystal-blue and your little ones can safely bath in shallow waters.

The first buildings on Menorca date from 2000 a.D.. Mighty prehistoric monuments
built by a yet unknown community are covering the whole island - the Balearic
